Furnace repair and replacement
Cold air from the vents, a furnace that won’t light, or one older than your car. Our heating crew fixes the ones worth fixing, replaces the ones that aren’t, and shows you both prices before anything is decided.
Dispatch answers 24 hours a day. No heat with kids or seniors at home goes to the front of the line.

Where things are on your furnace
- 1The filter. A clogged one is the most common reason a furnace shuts itself off. Slide it out and hold it to the light.
- 2The thermostat. Set to Heat, a few degrees above room temperature, with fresh batteries.
- 3The switch. A light switch on or near the furnace, plus its breaker, should both be on.
Still cold? The age and model are on the nameplate inside the upper door. Text us a photo of it and we reply with the age and whether a repair makes sense.

Furnace quit on the first cold night. Called at 10 pm, a real person answered, and Andre was in our basement by 8 the next morning. New igniter, $214, exactly what the text quote said.

Our 1998 furnace was on its last legs. Brannock quoted three options without pushing the priciest one. We went two-stage, it was installed in a day, and the upstairs bedrooms are finally warm.

Furnace questions
I smell gas. What do I do?
Leave the house first, without flipping switches or lighting anything. From outside, call the gas company’s emergency line or 911, then call us. We never want you troubleshooting a gas smell.
How long does a replacement take?
Most furnace swaps take one day. A heat pump with gas backup usually takes two, because the outdoor unit and refrigerant lines change too.
Are there rebates?
Often, yes. High-efficiency furnaces and heat pumps can qualify for utility rebates and a federal tax credit. We list the ones that apply on your quote and fill out the utility forms.
How often should the filter be changed?
Every one to three months for a standard 1-inch filter, and every six to twelve months for a 4-inch media filter. Home Club tune-ups include a new filter.
Cold house this morning?
Call before noon and most furnace repairs are done the same day.
